Crazy, Alexandra has 253 applicants!! I think is the first time I see such high application in a primary school!! I heard many are ang mos and PRCs. hopefully they are PRs so SG can all squeeze in.

ok, I just got news that out of the 253, only 7 are PRs, which means 246 are SGs!! Where did they come from???

Many foreigners applied for citizenship for one spouse and thus their children qualify to be citizens, too.

my three indian colleagues have done that, under indian law, they can still give up their Singapore citizenship and restore their indian citizenship under \"oversea Indian citizen\" scheme.

even those Singapore indians born here in Singapore can also apply for Indian citizenship, so long as they can prove their indian ancestry

I think we will see some withdrawal tomorrow. Hopefully That School will state the distance so parents can withdraw and register in other schools in time.

No need to have local spouse. Even if both husband and wife are foreigners, one can apply for Singapore citizenship while the other retains his/her native citizenship. They can then apply for citizenship for their children.

Quite a number have abandoned ZD and GES for APS. So it’s a case of who blinks first now…
