I'm interested to know if there was any balloting for Qifa's P1 under phase 2C last year.


I was told by the school there was balloting but thought I came across the info from KP forum that there was no balloting,

last year (2013) -
Phase 2C : No balloting

Phase 2C Supplementary
Balloting was conducted for SC children, residing within 1km of the school

No, there was no balloting in last year's Phase 2C registration (my daughter's was in Phase 2C).

Not Sure for Balloting, however I understand 2 classes already filled undering the first phrase… Siblings enrollment.


Qifa will be Single Session in 2015, so not sure whether they will reduce number of classes.

Hi Parents, wonder if there is any children here taking school transport from Taman Jurong Area to QiFa? Can advise the pick up time for AM session?

With regard to class size, it is 30 students per class at P1 and P2 levels…some classes may eventually have more or less than 30 due to transfers into/out of Qifa. The total intake for 2015 is 240 students (8 classes of 30 kids)…same as it was for 2014.


Balloting in 2C/2C Supp, when it occurs, is usually only an issue for PR. I would be very surprised if SC had to deal with balloting this year in 2C.

At P3 level, is it true that the classes 3E and 3B are slightly larger than 30 kids (35?)

No, there was no balloting in last year’s Phase 2C registration (my daughter’s was in Phase 2C).

Didnt see Qifa primary school on that P2Cs list. Anyone know how many vacancy where there for phase 2Cs last year?
