Can somebody enlighten how to go about the strategy of having one parent station at different school tomorrow and withdraw about the same time to register in another school? Since original IC is required on both side, there might not be enough time to travel from one school to another to do the withdrawal n re-registration again.

Hi, I just asked my friends this exact question. Make photocopies of all documents (IC, birth cert, etc). One parent goes to the first school to withdraw, showing the original ic. The other parent stand by at the second school with photocopies of ic. He/she can register with the second school, fill in the form, etc, by showing the photocopied ic and explain that the spouse is on the way with the original ICs.

I applied online but going school direct to withdraw, once withdrawed from school A, I just proceed to school B to register.

with 120 within 1km.. I can foresee in future yrs it's definite ballot within 1km cos phase 1 will def take up more slots resulting in lesser places for phase 2c..


a suggestion- anyone with spare cash pls buy units at Alexis (phase 2sale still on) - ur rent is guaranteed for the next 12yrs cos the guy who may rent with u on the 6th yr when PSLE results are out will have to stay put at that address for the following 6yrs..guaranteed rent and price appreciation of property..

no need to stay 6 years, I have already stewed MOE upside down. I demanded that they answer the human right issues, how can they tear the children friendships apart, when the family decided to change property.

They told me that the ruling is more for those unscrupulous parents who rented a place just for the primary school address, but they actually are staying in another address. For those genuine families who are staying in a rental address, they don't have to worry about this \"inhuman\" ruling.

yup yup since that sch only SC got chance and if SC comes along renting he def has to stay put for 6yrs.. good money.. how I used to think I have to rent at bukit timah cos my choice sch was there.. and gave up the idea soon knowing financially I won't be able to cope.. now I think bukit merah is equally lucrative.. property pricing will appreciate! continue the hype man! I like the financial gain.. $ $
