If I only had girls, CHIJ would definitely be the 1st choice as the IJ brand of schools is 1 that has a track record of equipping their students with the right attitude to survive in life. The independence, resilience, adaptability of an IJ girl really sets them apart from others. It's the IJ spirit. And I've never met any IJ girl that regrets going to IJ.

My comments about Kellock are in previous pages. As an old girl, I firmly believe in the IJ brand of schools. They groom the students into independent, caring & capable persons. In the working world, I find that IJ girls may not present the best academic results but they are confident and very likely to be able to do the job (as opposed to good grades but crap working ability/attitude). So if you only have girls, go for Kellock.

      I have 2 boys.

Once an IJ girl, always an IJ girl!
The IJ Spirit lives on & on & on... 😄[/quote]Not sure about the LJ spirit, but we have the Methodist \"happy go lucky\" spirit

Im a Methodist boy, my dad is an ACSians.
Sadly, chances of getting my child into Fairfield is \"zero\"

I joked with the Fairfield admin, we should be admitted into Fairfield Alumni council, since both father and grandfather came from Methodist school.
      😄

I called at 8am and now 847am. That Sch increased by 2 〈1km applicants.

Shows that some people are still monitoring.

Even for 〈1km, may be risky

PR and people who stay 〉2km of APS.

Please withdraw. Dont waste your 2C chance. Grab a place elsewhere before its too late.
how about those within 1-2km? stand a chance? or likely go into balloting?
          (asking for friends out there)

if only CHIJ is a mixed school, I will go for it

                1) Its a female only school (Not suitable for me)
                2) Its chunk at one corner, not easy to reach via public transport
                3) Its not walkable

                4) The nearest MRT is harbourfront (3 busstops away)
                5) The nearest housing estate is bukit purmei

if only RMPS is not in the same vicinity, it might be a very popular school

Errr....not true for the highlighted points, imho.

Not very for girls of small age to walk across the Bt Purmei estate especially alone. But I agreed that thier ECA prog are very fantastic & holistic well cover as compare with the other neighbourhood pri in our area.

CHIJ Kellock is just a short walk from RMPS. In fact, there are more public buses servicing this school than RMPS.

Didn’t realise that choosing primary sch can be such headache… for us, it is a 9 year project leh… don’t think same principal will stay so long in one school right?

I agree with titank that the real action and musical chair would start in the pm...... hope the school can cope with surge today...... be it withdrawals or registration.....

Erm it's not good chance. It's already less than 50% chance.

It's about 2.3 applicants for each place. And may get worst.
