thanks dagong99
Should be standard wordings, if you scroll down, you will see \"Please wait for the application outcome\".blessmum4:
I log in to the DSA website and under the \"my Status\" it showed \"Offered a place at NUS High School \"
Can the experienced parents please share if this means place offered or is this a standard wording there?
Btw, the notification for interview should be out soon since it is on 5 August.

Dear puzzle
The first round :
Had two segment 1) math : slightly tougher than p6 math
Most of the students found it manageable
2) science : my daughter was unable to gauge the level
She was nt sure if she had done ok or well
She said the questions gave you certain data n then you had to predict the outcome or state the reason .
The half day selection camp :
They had to perform an experiment each for bio ,chem and phy
This year for
Bio : they were given a leaf and it had something to do with stomata , that's all I could gather from what she told me
Chem : they were given a carbonate salt and acid , the salt was in powder form and in granular form , n they had to design an experiment to ascertain the rate of reaction ( again this is what I could understand from what my daughter told me )
Physics : they were first shown a video and then asked to design a structure from paper to bear load here it was bundle of sheets .
They had to write an essay
There were two topics
1) tuitions necessary or not
2) how the world would be like in the future
They also had a station that had a card trick my daughter dint tell much about it .
She found it fun n interactive . -
