Had very very bad experience with this maid agency - Ken***gton. Their maids are not committed as they were taught to request to go back agency as and when they feel like it (even if they make mistakes or their work is not up to satisfaction). Employer is asked to pay all documentation for replacement maid & to topup/start loan all over again. The maid simply give fake reasons to transfer out and ask for higher salary in her next new employer.

Gotten my maid from Eelit @ Katong. The agent is good and very patient. So far maid working over 4 months and everything seems alright. Anyone interested can try their service. The agent I liaise with is Sherly. Her contact is 82227346. :rahrah:

Has anyone heard of or used Workforce Manpower Agency? Are they reliable?

I’ve got very a bad experience with them. We return a maid with serious problem to them, according to contract, we are eligible to get 2 new maids for free within 1 year.
But when you ask them for any available replacement, they will come out with stories like… oh, this maid not suitable for you, that maid doesn’t fit your household, etc. Then when they eventually offer someone, it’s those with poor employment history, i.e. job hoppers.

when you return a problematic maid to them, they will "scold" the maid in front of you. then tell you stories like this is the Worst maid they ever seen in their lifetime. And say they won’t tolerate this type of maid in their agency. Later within 1 week, they put the maid up online to market it another family.

My bad experinces show that \"Big-brother\" agencies with many branches and long history\" and they cut agency fee from $1388 to give promotion discout $500 does not mean they are \"Reputable Good agency\". This type of agency are coomecialise maid agencies they buy the maids, display and sell to us, . They employ the M'sian staff not highly educated one with not very high basic salary , but can speak English, Chinses, Malay to push the maid to you and me and they don't tell the maids over the other side honestly about our household requirements and they lured the maids come in than they closed deal and earn commisions. They cover up many things. But you pay the big maid loan already , you can not terminate and send the maid back home because this agencies don't refund you the laon balance which they must earn from you and recover overseas agent cost already paid.

Small agencies with short history and one or two branches only does not mean they are \"No good\".In fact I am lucky that I finally got a \"Honest agency \" recomended by my neighbours to employ my current Myanmar maid she come into Singapore from Myanmar has only ONE MONTH's loan which I really can't belived when my neighbours told me the first time. This agency is owned by husband & wife team . MOM website can tell they have very high \"Retention Rate\" and \"LowTransfer rate\" and I read about them from internet blogs have very good comment about them from employer s and maids, that is rearely rare!

My experienced friends already employed many maids told me \"Small agency run by family , husband & wife , ffather and son .. personally and don't employ staff of have staff but personally supervise the staff ones\" are normally honest and follows laws and give honest advice. This is because they have thier names and faces to take care of when they personally face you in the office . This is totally diferrent from big agenecies thier bossses hide behide the scene and the commisioned staff do the dishonest jobs. And worst still , when coming to refund you always can not find the big-brother agencies bosses to sign cheques because they are always \"in overseas!!\"?

My agency also don't advertise in newspapers but quitely do honest business, and they do referrals only but they are in Singapore for 10 years. Their biodate is very detailed and the fees are very reasonable.

I realised that \"A good agency to me does not mean a good agency to other peoples\" because it depends on how we , our family and the maid as a person also. Eg, I realise that if my MIL is not so fussy and \"to much sometimes\" in scolding & treating my previous maids, may be I didn'e have to change maids. A \" good agency \" is important, but we must play our part also to make the maid can work out for us.

Can I have the contact please? I need to employ a maid soon, please msg me at [email protected]

            Thank you.
