      Hi There

Tks for the information, really helpful 🙂

Yes.. now that the registration is over.. next comes the orientation and also the small little details/headache.. like what kind of bag to get.. ergo or non-ergo.. what size?.. books.. uniform.. transport.. etc etc etc.. hahahahaha

Some info that may help :
      School Books
Usually school will send booklist out early.. based on past years pattern, you can opt for online ordering of the books (if im not mistaken can arrange for either delivery of the books to your house.. or u can opt to collect from the school during orientation day). Alternatively the school book vendor will also open shop during the orientation at the school.. so can buy on the spot. But I strongly advise to pre-order early so as not to waste time queueing for all these during the orientation.

      Uniform
Similarly, uniform vendor will also open shop at school during orientation day. But I suggest buying it directly from the factory (located somewhere in one of the AMK industrial buildings. Not so rushing.. can take your time to try on and see which is the best fit. The name tag is iron on.. but like what Wiselyn mentioned.. better to sew it on just in case.
How many to buy? The materials are quick dry. For me I buy 3 sets. Usually 2 is enuff to roll around if you have the energy to wash everyday. But I need that 3rd set in case it rained and the clothes don dry so fast.

      Bag
Up to you to get ergo or non-ergo. Personally I bought ergo bag for my kids. But do note that ergo-bags are heavy to begin with! Have tried different brands and find that the Deuter bag seems to be the lightest among all with the paddings that I need for my kids. In terms of size, I bought S size for my kids because my son who is in P1 especially is very small size (he is the smallest in class.. since his nursery days.. hahahaha). So it is sufficient. As a guide, get a hard plastic folder that can be used to keep A4 worksheets.. no need so thick.. bring it along when u go bag shopping.. if the folder can fit.. then the bag is good to go!. This folder is also good to bring to school for them to store the homework worksheets etc so they do not get crumpled.. and kids won't conveniently forget that they have homework to do!. hahahahahhaha

      Student Care
I understand that student care is opening registration early this year. So do check with them if you are enrolling your kids.

      Transport
Past years pattern is that school transport vendor will open counter in school to take in registrations for transport. I'm not sure if this is the same this year.

I'm sure there are more things in your mind. Will address them as they come along.
