SAME HERE! my eyes are so swollen now. cant help but tear at the thought of being balloted out. that is the only school for girls within 1km. now i am totally stuck! later will cry more when i see my DD later when she is back from her school. SUPER SUPER SAD!

Me too, so so sad as unable to secure a place and I stay just a min walk away from the sch.. same here I only left with sch that are 1-2 km away from my house I do not want to go through balloting again, so so stressful... feel so sorry and guilty to my son...I am not a good mummy...ingsq:
I am also 1 of the disappointed one. I only left with sch that are 1-2 km away from my house as all sch with 1km all taken up. Really a tough choice as I do not want to go through balloting again.

I was involved in 2c sup at canossa convent. The sch admin was very very friendly and welcoming when I called to enquire abt home sch and told her I was balloted out. She went nicely \"just come and register. Leave it to God. \" so I went. I was the last 2nd to register by then few other parents also hang around as the time was already 4pm. If there were 3 more SC who walked in to register then balloting will occur. And thankfully, none. So all sc got in without balloting. I'm out of 2 by the way. It's a small cohort but the sch admin and staffs gave me good impression and was patient in telling me the breakdown of 1km, 1-2km and 2km.anyone knows if there is balloting for CHIJ katong last year? any chance for outside 2km? please advise. thanx!
also, any information on canossa convent primary? any chance for outside 2km? please advise. thanx! -
My heart goes out to those balloted out. I’m so sorry to read about your disappointments. But, please move on and focus on your choice of school for 2C suppl.

Praise and thank God!! My dd got balloted into PHPPS!!!
Congrats! PHPPS is a very good sch.

Why p1 registration become So stressful and unfair. I would think MOE shld shift the 2c to second phase which is just below the sibling criteria, and above all other phases.

Congrats lena.aw! It must be a great relief for you
Share your excitement with your DD. Make her feel honored to be part of the school and look forward to contributing to it.
Thanks I will. This is very nerve breaking, cannot go through another round. I really feel sorry for those who have balloted out. It happened to me before. My elder dd is now Sec 2. I balloted out for her during her P1 registration. We were so disappointed and I broke down after the balloting :([/quote]Congrats Lena... Some people said 2008 born kids quite special.. Since 2008, baby born bonus has increased a lot and since this year P1 registration provides additional 20 seats in advance for Ph2B/2C

Hi Sherlly,Loke8058:
Anyone can advise if I failed again in Phase 2Cs, what can I do later?
i'm PR too, today ballot out from JWSP, really sad......
Trust that everything happens for good reason... I pray for you and all the parents in this forum who are going for the next phases
Try to register for waitlist in that your P2C school (ask the school for this possibility). Don't give up and let you kid in at whatever primary school you can get in Ph 2Cs. I believe there is a possibility to apply for transfer to another school one year after. My friend's son (PR) from a school in Jurong West was transferred to Tao Nan since P4 after selected for GEP.
So, keep optimistic... every kid is special and blessing :grphug: -
I stayed 200 meters away from
Rulang Decided not to go through the balloting…as I don think I can take the stress. Am glad that I got my DD a school without balloting… -

Many parents also can't take the pressure...
My friend's son balloted in a school in Sengkang this morning, being called at the last two! When they called for the last three, it was for twin and he felt hopeless. But when they called for her son, he almost fainted ! His wife was waiting outside, couldn't take the pressure inside.
Their last weekend was awful, husband and wife were so tense, blamed each other, grandparents felt guilty ... etc...
Even they finally balloted in, what a dreadful and stress for P1 registration !
It is very wise to assess your endurance and we must believe whatever choice taken is the best choice
Everything happens for good reason :imcool:
