      Mummy 81:
Hi,i get a myanmar maid last 2 mths.

May i know anyone have take this country's helper, how dp you all train them?as my helper ald 2 mths in my house but still need to inform & tell what she need to do. If not all will half way.
She like to delayed the work..always give an excuse \"later then do\"...but end up nvr do.. 😓
Can i have some opinion, how to train them & how to maintain cleanliness?
      Thanks a lot
Create a schedule for them to follow.
It's all up to individual working capability, we can't expect a slow worker to work fast it will make them ended up more stress.
Tell them your preference. For example, I will emphasize to my helper that I do not want to see ants crawling in my house and she will make sure that she keep every corner of my house clean.

That’s very common of Myn maid.

For any maid, draw up a daily schedule and weekly schedule. So they know what they are supposed to do. My Indo maid work so slowly thinking that she can do less.

I had 2 Myn maids before…very bad experience for me. They don’t have the maid culture/domesticated like Indo or Phi maids have.

My 2nd M maid told me that her purpose is to make money here, after 2 years return home to university to study. She also said that it is uncommon for them to do housework or look after baby siblings; her mother did everything, they start school at 5 years old. She said she only started doing housework at the training centre to prepare to come here.

I notice that they do bedding very well like hotel but not housework.

Maybe you can bring her back to agency and have them talk to her.

ask your agent to help translate the schedule into Myanmese so that they can understand better.

Sometimes they just can’t understand English.

actually all the new maids from the country only learn English when they are at the agency. They state in the bio that they know a little English, this is all bull.

I currently have a My maid. I like her cuz of her good attitude and her patience with elderly.

But I hate the way all the agencies try to bluff the consumers. If we are all told the truth, at least we can all manage our expectaton instead of some of us coughing blood having communication problems.
