Forgot to add this. Ironically, the teacher will check his comm book and see if I pay the $20 for his outing. So if she bothers to do that, why didn’t she bother to check if he has handed in his homework ?

I suppose collection of $ has a dateline, if not she has to fork money from her pocket. Homework does not seem as urgent, I think. She can mark them anytime.
Some teachers do not establish a routine or way to ensure that ALL children hand in homework. They just mark whatever they have. For my son, I had to make sure I remind the teacher to give him his weekly Chinese spelling as he went to EIPIC Centres for 2 days weekly. When he was there, they would just flood him with unfinished worksheets he missed on the 2 days.
I have a similar experience. When I received my girls' unmarked worksheets, I asked the principal abt it. The answer I got was they were not marked because they wanted them to develop confidence, thus they do not correct the letters they write. Oh my, my girls even told me, it was okay to be messy in their work, I think the school tried to be encouraging by saying that but when I heard that, I jumped and quickly looked for another preschool for them. Not marking is a problem, reinforcing bad habits is definitely a No No. -
Double E,
Your son got homework already. We don’t have any one so far, just did in school.
I think there are something wrong with the teacher’s mindset. However, better not make her feel you do complaint. For our kids, the way teacher treat him is more important! -

Agree, do not mark the work to me is already a no no, Kids and parents made effort to do it, they should at least look at it, mark it. and if got mistake or kid is doing poorly, at least they can feedback to the parents to let them know their kids need to buck up. Reinforcing bad habits is worse i guess. Imagine they bring this to Pri schoolDouble E:

I guess I will not tell the Principal, but I speak to her again tomorrow, let her know I have prepared a file for my son to put in his homework for submission, so that she knows that this matter IS on my radar. -
Hi mummies,
My 3 year old son is autistic and is currently receiving therapy at arc. Kkh doctor advised that we also put him in a mainstream nursery for him to interact and socialise with other kids. Can I check with you mummies which preschool has good support for special needs kids?
Thank you. -

Hi! My son was at YWCA west coast with a Learning Support teacher. School environment wise was not fantastic but the learning support teacher was fantastic. However, she has left the yr my son graduated.
I have found a link to another forum which u may want to read, but again, u have to check again as it is an old thread. I think u can try to check with mcys, they should have a list of preschools with learning support teachers. Hope it helps. -
Thanks pinkamoon!
