Hello to all the parents
my DS will be going APS next year. We received the school letter today! There will be an administration day on 15 Oct, to collect bookliet n make school transport arrangements.
Can't wait to meet the rest of you soon in school -

My boy is using Dr Kong, so far so good! Lighter than some of his classmates' bags. -
The children must be having FUN at GESS today!

I remember that during the 1st day of school. Most of the gals have pink bags!

For parents getting the school uniform.
This year, the children has 2 days of PE + Wed My PALS - they are wearing PE attire 3 times a week - from term 2.
Term 1 should be 3 days school uniforms & 2 days PE. -

Anyone knows if we can order the books online and get them delivered to doorstep?
Are the kids allow to keep the books in the lockers?
My son only likes the LEGO ergo bags. For me, weight is very important. Does not make sense if a child has to carry a bag that weighs 1kg+ w/o books (even though the sales will tell you it’s okay, weight is well distributed like those in hiking bags bla bla…). The LEGO bag seems to be lighter compare to other brands. For ergo bags, we have to ensure the kids put the books in a certain manner to distribute the weight. Also, essential that they buckle and tighten the straps. IF NOT, they will still be slouching. I will not be buying yet. Will buy after I get to see the size of his textbooks and files.
Still cannot decide whether to let my son take the school bus. Was told that pick up time at 630am which i find too early. However, reaching home time at 2pm seems reasonable (I wonder if it’s really possible to reach home by 2pm by school bus?). -
I rcvd the Administration letter yesterday, my schedule date is on the 14 Oct afternoon. Thanks parents out there sharing their thoughts & advice on this link.
