Hi mummies, can i check how is balloting conducted? Do they verify the balls before the parents first before drawing the number balls?

They will pre-assign the child's name to a ballot ID which will be printed on a list for you to check before you enter. They will then call out each ballot ID with the corresponding child's name & BC and show the ball with the number. As they call out each one, the ball will be placed into the carrier.

After all the names have been called out, the balls will be shuffled for awhile first and they will commence the balloting.

In the case of multiple births ie. twins and triplets, parents will usually opt for their kid to be under one ballot ID. So if their ball comes, all will get seats in the school.

      Hope I've explained sufficiently :boogie:

yup, I meant enrichment. VP said it will not be subsidized by school cos it's not considered a CCA till Pri 3.

The fees for the enrichment are still not exorbitant. PM me if u wish to know. I still have the info kept somewhere.

Will we be receiving any balloting confirmation letter from the school?

Yes the school will mail the application form we submitted at point of registration and they will fill up the portion below which will indicate if the placement is successful/unsuccessful and the principal's signature. I think that should reach us by next week. ๐Ÿ˜„

Perhaps when the school is more established and has more levels of students, they will implement it.

Anyway, with Seletar Mall opening across, Iโ€™m sure there will be more enrichment centres opening up.
