      Hi!

I found this thread absolutely too cute!
But just here to make friends with parents with same age kids.
Am a pretty relaxed mom when it comes to P1 registration. After living aboard for sometime, I really appreciate how advanced our public schools are. So for me, every sch is a good sch. Just hoping to get the one which is next door to me. No need to spend transport fees! lol!
Well... we all have the same aspirations, TigerMOM2010. But some less lucky folks have hugely popular schools right beside their homes. That's when the stress starts 🙂

Oh yes, that I cannot disagree with. For the ongoing Pri 1 registration, my relative is facing this problem. Now so sad and ironic that have to find other schools in the area.

So where are all your kids going to? Mine starts PCF next yr. Kinda excited bec the kindy is nearby home and we always pass by it from the time he was a baby. Like a mini-P1 jitters.

PCF does prepare kids for the rigors of P1, but I have personally had better experience will full-day kindergartens.

I have a 2010 girl and 2011 boy. I’m planning to do PV at Peihwa Presbyterian and I live within 2km. Anyone knows what’s the balloting result for this year enrollment?

No balloting for P2b this year. You may want to call the school to ask specifically how many PV they are taking in each year.

Hi Nidal & babygabby , you can refer to this link for more information on the balloting history of the primary schools 🙂

Baconegg, best to call the school to enquire. Else just goggle for the school's website and surf around. They usually have information on studentcare if they have one.

its so tough to make a decision on which school to go basing on the number of registration for next yr. Punggol & Sengkang \"good\" school is a real challenge.

how many in this area facing the same?
I had sort of mentally prepared myself that my boy may just have to go to the nearest pri school. But as it turns out, it seems like the nearest pri school to me is very popular due to the younger population in Sengkang. I think Punggol has it worse thou. I'm a catholic and there isn't any 'near enough' catholic primary schools for my boy. But to try balloting at phase 2B first seems more logical because who knows my boy might be lucky enough to secure a school at phase 2B? Else to enter balloting at phase 2C right from start is making my balls shrink.
