Can be considered a cert bah. Think it helps the student to explain why he/she did not have O Level cert if he/she needs that for further studies in another institution. But it is quite different from a testimonial.

I think you only get testimonial from FT at end of Year 6? I remembered my niece had one.


Don’t think Year 4 will give testimonial.

Jtoh, IMO, it can be considered as a cert, not a statement...the print n the quality of the paper
Also, it includes individual name n respective school info...

Yes, a testimonial was given at the end of Year 4. But that's probably because the girls school is independent from the boys school and this testimonial is from the girls school.

Yup...after June holidays...she said she collected it from the students' council office...
I was rather surprised tt there is such a cert when she passed it to me...

Just wondering, for IP schools like RI, does the Y6 testimonial capture achievements from Y3/4 on top of Y5/6? Anyone with any past experience to share?

I'm asking as my dd has an excellent Y4 testimonial and it feels like a real waste if this is not going to be captured in any way in the Y6 one, since the IP programme is a continuous 6 year programme. Her JC testimonial is likely to be much less stellar due to fewer opportunities to shine ...
