      Hello!

      Am seeking some suggestions here.

I have lost touch with this friend and suddenly she called and I was given an invitation to attend her DD's birthday.

      Would really appreciate some input.

      Thank you!
      Stationeries from kiki-k, paper stone.
      Story books
      Popular vouchers (last resort)

Buying gifts for girls are easy:

        - The more hype gifts: accessories, bags, wallets, shower gel and moisturiser, body mist…
        - The more traditional gifts: books, stationaries, shopping vouchers, T-shirts or blouses, chocolates…

Pretty stationery would be a good idea.

Depends on the child. I was one (and I have daughters who are like me) who would prefer books above all else. Totally not interested in clothes, stationery, toys, pretty knick-knacks etc. But a book voucher would be better if the child is a wide reader - we have received a lot of books we’ve already read, or below our current reading level.

Other gifts which my girls liked would be jigsaws or board games.

The mum will/might thank you for that. But the birthday girl will :stompfeet:

                      :thankyou: :thankyou: for your suggestions!

Please keep them coming in. They are really helpful. The more specific they are, the more convenient for me ie type of brand and where to buy etc ...

Plan to go shopping end of the week, so I will be keeping track of this thread.

                      :hugs:
