Cannot celebrate. Dd still weak after last Friday episode. 2nd time to watch her suffering in hospital. Practically have to assure doctor to allow her to go home yesterday at 5 pm. Tomorrow must go through the long Q&A. Sigh...
Sorry I have been missing something? What is happening to your dd? Nothing serious I hope?
Sleepy... if you read earlier posts, you will see that Blobbi's DS did not have a FSIQ because of the differential between each section, right? Or is the WISC score something else? :?

Without a meaningful FSI, report will still indicate VCI, PRI, WMI, PSI subtest scores

Psst, sleepy, do you know how to calculate the FSIQ, I don't know how to do that leh, can share?
I'm no expert  Just sharing what I know hor

VCI and PRI carry higher weightage. 30% weighting each.
WMI and PSI 20% weighting each.

In cases where there's wide variance between the subtests, a meaningful FSI cannot be calculated

What is 'wide variance' ? Do you know? Because I thought DS's was a wide variance, but they went ahead and computed the FSIQ. Also for those he score 19, they did not bother to test further. Wonder why? :? Having said that, he went to do the tests to rule out ADHD... and they just wanted to know he is at least average.

There is an IQ score in each category VCI, PRI, WMI, PSI.

IF I recall correctly, a delta of 19 & above between any of the categories is considered wide variance and would rendered FSI uninterpretable.

Don't ask me why 19 though

Your ds 4 categories IQ score, how wide is the variance?
En, not sure what you mean. You mean can tell meh? I very discreet, I thot. But he kena label till headspin. His current school teacher says I should check out his ears, which I haven't done cos CAPD can only be checked at 7yo. Xian. Btw, every diagnosis means :moneyflies: ๐Ÿ˜› . Plus where got time to go for therapy? Already doing eyes, now handwriting ... Got 24hrs per day only wor. Actually, I'm not gonna bother with this bit till there is conclusive evidence of problems.

Don't know leh, I misplaced that report already... But if the highest is 19, then how can the variance be 19? Highest was 19 and the visual thingy he was slightly above average, don't know the score already :?
