Changing Preschool

My DS2 juz attended a CCC (DD1's previous centre) for only 3 days and he started saying no going to school.
Wondering now whether to change another centre for him

i think the usual is to give them a week to adapt? usually the first week is definitely marked by some resistance due to adjustment....

Finally managed to 'forced' him to go today.

DS1 cried for 6 months when first sent to playgroup. DS2 cried for 3 months going to the same kindy as his brother. You may like to give a bit more time…esp since this is the same place your first child attended before (ie got track record).

Hi ghibli, I also changed a preschool for my son (nursery) too. Started 1st mar. He was ok to go to the new school but at the same time,he told us he missed the old school.


think the most impt, we should decide what is the best for our kids.

My consideration is changing is due to distant. I’m living in Tampines and his old preschool is in Pasir Ris. To be honest, I’m still thinking whether did i make the right decision cos the old school seems to be able to prepare my kid for P1 than the current one.

Thanks![/quote]hi, my boy is in Bethesda. Decided to let him continue there for this year n see how next yr. He really got very gd teachers this yr n last yr. His Chinese has improved alot with his current Chinese teacher, more willing to speak n sing.

Have u check out all the preschool around there? Will be gd to go around.
