We don’t specify what time she goes out but we ask her to be back before we get home on sundays which can be between 8pm to 10pm. She has been working with us for 4 years going 5

Ours is out by 8am and we tell her she has to be home by 7pm, although most times she’s home about 6pm.

My maid goes out at 8 or 9 depending on her prior arrangement with her friends and back by 6. She has been asking to be back by 7. I told her no, this is my house rule and if she can’t accept to be back by 6, then pls work for someone else.

She says it’s ok, she will be back by 6. Because she does not want to take care of babies or toddlers or old folks. She wants to continue to care for my One school going child. I m thinking to myself if all the maids think like u, then employers won’t be able to find any maid!! Really!!! Her thinking has changed after she goes off.

Mine goes out by are 9.30am after doing some housework (on her own initiative). I only ask her to be back by 8pm so that can prepare for the next school day. If the children have no school on Monday, I let her be home by 10pm.

My previous Filipino helper was terrible. Always late and give me funny excuses. So I told her to be back by 6pm.
