If I remember correctly, I think my kid’s Primary School teacher told them that should they use British English, it has to be done all the way, likewise for American English. You cant mix both in your essays.

My daughter is confused with spelling of some words too...like centre/

Center. I have to remind myself to use 's' instead of 'z' with her too...for my son, I asked him to change his language settings in Microsoft to British English...control usage of that correction tape :stupid:

Me too asked dd to take a break but she came back home with loads of homework and said can’t take break until psle over.

Today can expect marks for eng n maths…dd afraid she did ok in all subjects…she said the papers were 75% difficult 25% easy…

You don't have to follow what the teachers say. Just don't tell them! It's good to take a short respite before starting revision again, but not let it become a long holiday.

Prelims last paper today for DD 🕺 (Listening Compre on Monday, but since there's nothing to study for, I take as Prelims ending today 😂 )

Looking forward to chilling for a couple of days. Last week has been a horrendously busy week for my elder DD in sec school as well, so I think the whole family needs the break, just to preserve our sanity.
