Hi parents whose kids alr in PHPP,

Juz need more reliable sources to clarify if the rumour is true, as I plan to register my child here next yr. Someone's friend friend who koes a sch gardener who worked in PHPP previously told that someone's friend that the discipline in PHPP is bad, and there are 'gangsters' in the upper pri. Why would a sch gardener who worked in PHPP for a number of yrs commented this? It is quite worrying. But I still believe that PHPP is a gd sch, their PSLE results is the evidence.

Juz like to have another side of the story regarding this rumour, current parents whose kids attend PHPP, how true is the discipline part and what's your opinion?

      thank you.
So far I've no concerns about disciplinary matters. My child is in P3, not upper primary. The older students I saw in school are well-behaved. Of those times that I saw students wearing school uniform & PE T-shirt outside of school, they were behaving decently too. I guess the best is to observe them yourself.

I am sure all schools have some bullies in them. But I won't call them gangsters. Like all bullies, they are just people who feel insecure and need attention.
I don't think there is any cause for concern. If there is any incident, just report to the teacher or the discipline master. So far, I am satisfied with the discipline side of things. In fact, I find that the pupils at PHPPS are generally well-behaved.
I suggest you go there during the open house to see for yourself instead of relying on hearsay. Cheers.

Agree. In every sch there'll be bad eggs.

My friend whose job is to host students from all schs (part of national education) told me that PH kiddos are one of the most well behaved ones she has seen over the years.

She told me this after I shared ds was ex-PH.

Anyone heard anything about the relocation? 2016 going single session, no time liao!!

Most likely to the current holding school of NYPS, after they move out (heard from reliable sources).

Wow, good news. Convenient for us. My younger one will be P1 in 2015.

Yes, it is still result dependent.

                    Hi Mommies,

Can someone let me know for the subscription of The Young Scientist, is it that we have to direct order from the supplier and not through the school?

                    Hope for some quick clarification.
                    Thanks a lot!!

it's result dependent every year, other than p1/2.

                        Hi,

Can anyone advise how many days of PE per week for p1? I heard there’s mass PE as well? Thanks
