Hi, for the Mid-Autum Festival celebration from 2.30 to 4.30pm on 19th Sept, if parents are not able to attend, can the student attend by themselves? My daughter said her teacher told her if parents are not attending then she cannot attend too. Not sure if she had heard wrongly? Thanks.

Dear Frozen Bear,

Students can attend the Mid-Autumn Celebration. Please do ensure that your child is picked up on time at the security post.

No school bus will be provided at that time if your child goes home by school bus. Do make the necessary transport arrangement for your child.

Dear P1 2015 Parents,


We've recently been receiving a few calls from Singapore Citizen parents about placing their children at West Spring Primary, after they've already secured a place in another primary school.

The P1 registration exercise 2014 has already closed. Parents won't be able to register their children at West Spring Primary, which is already full.

If parents are still interested in placing their children at West Spring, please do contact Mdm Noor at 6314 4192, Monday to Friday from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, to place your children on our waitlist.

Please do note that there're already children registered on our waitlist. We'll only notify you when there is an arising vacancy.

Welcome to the West Spring Family. Normally it's done on the day of orientation. However, I would recommend you call the school and ask to speak to Madam Noor. She will be able to assist you with this enquiry.

Dear Sgjlee, many important things will take place during orientation day - parents' briefings on school matters; conduct of admission exercise into West Spring Primary, purchase of books and PE attire, engage school bus transport service and orientation exercise for your child in class.

Orientation day will take up half a day on Friday morning, 7 November 2014 from 9.00 am to 1.30 pm approximately.

Please attend the Orientation Day as it is an important event.
