any comment on cherie hearts at west coast?

Dear All,


I’m a parent with kid in Cherie Hearts at Limau Garden. I know the branch director in Harbour Front as she was being transferred there from Limau. I’m very surprise at what I’m reading as my son and I are very happy with them. Though there are hipcups but these are minor issues.

In Limau Garden, the teachers and parents share a very close releationship with one another. Most of the children in my son’s class even called me by name when they see me. You will see parents talking to one another during picking up time and the teachers will joined in the conversation. We are also invited to some personal events of the teachers like wedding and the teachers are also invited to our houses if there’s a party. It’s like a big family in Limau Garden.

The parents are so at ease in Limau that some of them hired the teachers for addional tution lessons. There’s a lot of children who went on to P1 come back to Limau Garden for before/after school care.

If it’s not because of moving to the North for my son’s P1 enrollment this year, I would have stay with them for before school care. Now, the thought of leaving this centre sadden both of us as we have been with them for 3+years!

Like some other big names in this line, I was under the impression that their HQ is either too busy or too eager to "expand" overseas, e.g. those neighborhood countries China, Vietnam, Indonesia… they should first take good care of the existing branches and make sure the standard of quality control not dropping… whenever we parents feel unhappy or our concern not properly addressed yet, it upset me to read about their circulation boasting a new center has open in Vietnam or somewhere else… what’s the point of expansion when the ground work is shaky?


As I understand from friends and my colleagues who also have their kids in different CH centers, you have to keep your fingers crossed as the quality of the teachers, environment…VARY from time to time (good teachers might leave) , from centers to centers…

There were moments that I was pretty happy about the center; there were also moments when I thought of pulling my kid out… However, till today, we are still with them… coz their curriculum is good which I like, quite well-rounded, covering science knowledge, oberservation, experiments, outings etc…not just academic-driven.

The above are just sharing my my personal view only. Not bad-mouthing or finger pointing.

me n my husband went to view one of the cherie hearts branch, we decided wont to enroll our son to there, because there are limited space for 100++ kids. and we found there are too many china teacher who cant speak proper english, and the place are not clean up after the kids back home. please correct me if i am wrong.
