I decided not to ask too many questions otherwise giving myself unnecessary stress

I agree. DS seemed quite happy and relaxed after the paper so I didn't ask any specific questions, otherwise both of us will feel stressed if the answers don't turn out right. Anyway, what's done is done, it's more important to focus on the next paper with a good frame of mind.

My DS says the picture is boy with a chicken suit in a classroom. He said he wrote his compo The boy is a mascot for soccer game. What did your kids write?

My DS also wrote the pic compo. He said the student was dressing up in chicken costume for a class Show and Tell and he fell down and injured himself... something along that line... :idea:

He said most of his classmates chose to write the picture compo instead of continuous as it was easier..

From the answers given \"with, after, through\", I find \"Through\" seems the most appropriate.

My daughter wrote the chicken costume one. Said he was performing for Children’s Day. The guy fell and injured himself so he couldn’t perform. Teacher brought him to the sick bay and told the other two pupils that the show had to go on. The girl put on the chicken head that had fallen out earlier on and walked on the stage with the boy. They did not know how to start until someone in the front row started singing to the tune of the chicken dance song and they eventually mustered enough courage to start dancing and singing. After that they went to the sick bay and told the teacher and the boy the performance was great. She wrote 8 pages. Hope the story wasn’t too draggy…

Found a 3rd-4th grade teacher from Hoover High School who designed a grammar game for the kids.

DS din choose pic compo, he said he couldn’t think of many things to write…hope his choice of situational compo was a right one. He used up the whole booklet for the compo.

As for paper 2, we decided not to ask him anything since we can’t change…he also told us not to ask him anything. He will only comment wht the paper is "easy, average or difficult".
