      .

I am quite worried for my girl's English. Do you have any good English enrichment to recommend?

I coach my dd myself on English, so I do not know of any good enrichment. But from word of mouth, British Council, Morris Allen and Julia Gabriel seem to provide quality lessons.

Just as I guess, my girl did badly for CA1 English, think she will get kick out of their current class liao for next year if this continues on. Any idea what is the highest scores for your dd class for the 4 subjects.

Think need to get my girl to work hard on the weak subjects. The teacher had to do a last minute rush for the science and suddenly she had to do worksheets almost 1-2 days before the CA1 and during the CA1 such that I had not much time to do revision with her. Too short a time for me to do a proper revision.

Luckily still got chance to try harder for SA1. May try also to apply her for learning lab (provided can be accepted) to see if her English standard can be improved.

My gal also rushed through the science worksheets just few days b4 CA.

Ya, heard learning is good but also heard they only accept gd students :?
If the students r alr good, still need help :?

I am referring to papers alone. My gal’s class highest for English is 47, science is 46 (quite low i think so i curious to know how did your gal’s class fare for this subject) and Maths is 50. As for Chinese, they go for different class but heard that 5 got full marks for your gal’s class?

In her class, highest for Eng paper is 47/50, Eng compo is 28/30. Maths is full marks and 14 of them in the class has full marks. CL is 49.5/50. Science is 48/50.

Hi Lock, thanks for the kind sharing. I got one correction to make. DD said highest for English is now 48 (may be she was confused with all the marks :? ). And her class only 1 got full marks for Maths. So your dd class is really good with so many full marks and cheers for those girls, did so well! :celebrate: For CL, my gal only goes to the average class and 1 got full marks. My gal said her friend said H class got 5 full marks, so I am not sure the info is correct and H class highest for compo is 20, full marks, not sure how many of them achieved that. 😄

Ya. My gal has this friend who goes to H for Chinese but I find that she sometimes didn't really provide the correct information and she will tell my girl later she bluff one. So sometimes I am very doubtful of the information :? . She said she got 20 for show n tell and 20 for composition. I am just wondering...it is possible to get full marks for show n tell but maybe quite difficult to get full marks for compo but I may be wrong because I am not sure of how they mark the compo. For my gal's class, the highest is only 16/20.
