I knew about the English Quiz when he brought back the file.... thinking back, was it call the learning sheet or class test?? :?
The Cloze Passage content is abt a Lion and the comprehension is abt frogs.

Maths Quiz, I heard from them over dinner last evening. Shd be getting the paper back this week.

DS only mentioned abt the 30 marks maths test last wk bcos he'd gotten a prize on the spot :roll: but i hv yet to c the paper. Asked if it's just a practice paper like the earlier 20mks 1, but he said teacher said it's a test & there will b more prizes for the coming ones. :lol:

Boy took an English Practise Paper back today. Over 30 marks. Guess should be this one

your child is from class 1J right? did they feedback to you on Mr Zhou?

i pick my boy from gate c daily. last week, i have him screamed at the children from their class while assembling them at the corridor. frankly it was a pretty bad scream that all of us at the hdb block (waiting) can hear him.

i am very sure the other teachers from ground level all can hear him. i am just very disturbed that kids are being shouted like that.

Well, I have seen lady teachers scolding kids (non-stop sentences kinda) but not a male one screaming with one loud shout, followed by scoldings. I certainly understand the frustration of handling active kids at times but shouting of such should not be encouraged. Am very sure the residents next block all heard that too.

Hope everything improves. (p/s: he was one of my son's favourite teacher somemore)

I agreed that certain discipline towards the kids are healthy. Most of the time, Mr Zhou shouted at the students are due to the students misbehaved themself. I pretty like Mr Zhou. His Mandarin is good also.

Mr Zhou is teaching my DD's class and he is strict and good although fierce. The online homework my DD started since last week. Their computer teacher Mr Tai had asked them to try 1 quiz at home so that they can raise any questions to the teacher this week if encounter problems. So far so good.
