In the past, I looked for jobs that are 5 day work week.
Now, I am looking for jobs that are 3 or 4 day work week.

that's interesting...work 2 days, 1 day off and then it's Thursday and TGIF. -

I agree. First 9 mths of the year, must not anyhow apply leave as you never know when you need to take leave in one stretch.
Only at year end, with a lot of leave to clear, then slowly enjoy.
Reminds me of the saying - work hard now n enjoy later!!!!

first half of the year, there are several public holidays…so there is really no need to take leave. preferable to keep annual leave till year end because there is SA2. Christmas week is a compulsory shut down week till 2 jan.

Actually if working full time, just a few public holidays isn’t enough.
