At the school gate today, I overheard some parents saying that school will be releasing at 1030 am tomorrow. Wondering if this is true? I doubt it since there is neither mentioning from the term4 letter nor from my kid.

Any parents here can verify too? Thanks!

        Hi Pixelbee,
I haven't heard anything about an earlier finishing time. Remedial lessons for English are still going ahead at 2pm, so I think it's a normal finishing time at 130pm.

I heard from the security guards that the Hindu children celebrating Deepavali are finishing at 10am. All other students will finish at 130pm except for those who have remedial English. 😄

              Thanks again Tenko!

Wondering why the school didn’t communicate this to the parents… Or perhaps they only inform Hindu parents?

                  Hi Pixelbee,
I am sure the parents concerned were notified in advance 😄
Have an enjoyable public holiday tomorrow. 😄

School Orientation for 2015 Primary One will be on 7 Nov 2014. Would like to know other than text books and school PE attire, what are others to be purchased? What are the mode of payment. Would like to be prepared so that we bring enough cash for payment.

Would like to know if we need to bring any documents for the orientation?

                      Thanks!

                        Hi Keatavich,
welcome to the West Spring Family. I believe the school shop only accepts cash. There may be stationary from the shop that you may wish to be buy as well. All the prices for the uniform and text books should be in the letter that the school sent you.

I would really recommend that you telephone the school and ask them about the documents that you need to bring. It may just be Giro details, birth cert and parents' IC/Passport information.

                        Enjoy the orientation day.
