St Anthony's Primary

Francisval:
Hi Happyfeet11,
Good afternoon.
Thank you so much for your sharing!! It certainly eased my most important doubt about St. Anthony's Primary School's co-ed status. Haha, I even have a bet with my sister-in-law on this as she seems so confident when she claims that SAPS is an all-boys institution.
We are also grateful to you for telling us that we are placed under the 2B category in the school enrollment exercise. Haha, we are certainly within 1km distance from this school. Let's hope it enhances our chances in getting in successfully.
Lastly, our daughter was born in 2011 June, which means that she is currently 3 years & 4 months old. Hence, am I correct to say that we have to enrol her in the year 2017 June exercise?
Once again, thank you very much, Happyfeet11. Have a happy & peaceful week ahead with lots of smiles surrounding you.
Que Sera Sera!!
Best Regards,
Francisval
Hi Francisval,
No problem! Just sharing what i know
Registration is by year, not age so yes you will need to register her in 2017. Keep a look out in the MOE website. All information will be there. -

Seems not much parents free nowadays. I'm hoping someone can carpool. I've no idea how to get my son to clementi to take school bus to n fro on a daily basis. I'm FTWM. -
Hello all… I believe most of you will be buying the school uniforms during the orientation, right? My suggestion is to get one set of uniform (with tie); and 2 sets of PE uniform. Reason? SAPS require all students to wear uniform with tie on the first day of the week (usually Monday, but because of holidays, it could be Tues or Wed etc). However, on the days where there is PE, Mass PE, etc, children are required to wear PE. So, if you have PE on Monday, you don’t have to wear uniform. And anyway, all other days can wear PE attire. Don’t make the same mistake as we did, buying 3 sets of uniforms and 3 sets of PE… and ended up wearing only one set!!
Also, if I could add this without having my post deleted, I would like to sell a set of brand new girl’s uniform. Also selling off the preloved uniforms and PE attire. Please PM me if interested. Thanks! -

Don't they need to wear uniform then change before PE lesson?Hello all... I believe most of you will be buying the school uniforms during the orientation, right? I already thought of buying 3 sets each lol
cause 5 days i thought minimum i need 5 sets of mixture mah.
Maybe I'll change to 2 uniforms and 2 PE sets then..
My son Kindy I buy 4 sets uniforms 1 PE cause PE only once a week.
I do laundry once a week btw.. So I confirm not enough to wear. -
worried_mom:
No need to change clothes FOR PE. Just wear PE the whole day. If laundry once a week, it means you buy 1x uniform and 2x PE first. Once you get the time table, then you will know what you need. On very odd weeks (probably happened once the entire year!), my DD needed to wear uniform 2x a week - I just wash, hang, iron. confirm dry. Better take the budget and buy more PE. Much more comfortable to wear, and better colours - not so fair, not so dirty!
