They will be considered for the subject that they are taking.

For example,we had a year 1 who was best in mathematics for year 5.

      huh ?

you mean this Year 1 can know much more than the Year 5, even though Year 5 is still long way for him ?

      is he a genius ?
      which subject ?
      physics ?

There are many geniuses. Sadly, I'm not one of them.

It's not just about knowing more. A lot of it is about being careful. After all, quizzes, tests and exams is still a large fraction of the overall grade. Though, yes, I reckon he knows more about maths than a lot of the year 5s.

It is in mathematics, as stated.[/quote]Just venturing a guess, the math geniuses in year 5 would not be taking year 5 math anyway, they'd already have been doing university modules, so this Year 1 may be tops amongst year 5s in a 'regular' math module? An outstanding achievement nevertheless.

So when it comes to select the Best in Chemistry/(Math) for say Year 3, the Year 3s with the acceleration for that will not be considered? :scratchhead:

To be accelerated to Year 5 at the start of Year 1, NUSH must have administered lots of diagnostic tests! He probably whizzed past each one easily. šŸ˜“

                  Hi folks,

I’m interested to find out more about NUSH. Sorry for the noob questions as I donch have much exposure to this sch. TIA.

What are the courses NUSH grads usually take in uni?

Can NUSH grads enrol in faculties other than Science or Engg?

This student is more of an exception than the norm right? :nailbite:
How do they assess him/her to know that he has the capability to skip 4 years? Who assesses? Or the student puts himself up for assessment??
Are there a lot of such geniuses in NUSH? šŸ˜“
                        Wow.... :scared:
