Chinese oral is out of 50 marks? That's quite heavy weightage. I practise oral with my children out of everyday scenarios. For example when we went to hawker centres for breakfast, I will ask her to describe the hawker centre (almost like the Chinese Kan-tu-shuo-hua). When we are waiting for bus to their enrichment, i will ask them to describe the bus-stop, how many people, etc. It really helps. Try it... as she do more, she will be less stiff. So far, DS has been scoring full marks for his English and Chinese oral... and it helps in his Paper 2 which is ... sigh... lolMy dd's weakness is definitely Oral. She only get 30+ out of 50 for Chinese and low 20 out of 30 for English. Even her class presentation, teacher also commented she's stiff
She wasn't like that in lower primary. No problem with show and tell le. Now condition deteriorating...
Not sure what to do with her tongue-tight cannot think clearly panicky mode. She used to attend speech and drama till p1. Not sure if I should resume her speech and drama class. She is so self conscious of herself this recent 2 years. Haiz -
dare NOT think of psle...worry about P4 SA2 first :frustrated:
one step at a time.
next week is the last one before SA2...these few days at home, I've been pushing English and science a lot more. -

Actually we really need to be kiasu not that we want to, we have to because when my p4 when p5, experienced a big dip… omg! Panic, so Good to prepare early… my kids prepared early in p5 but luckily they worked very hard and also I had guidance for them who were available to teach them so it’s gpossible, prepare early, it’s Good especially maths and science concepts and application. So if need advice? Prepare early panic less, maths practice concepts sand science also concepts but need application so I can’t help but I had help. Good luck parents!
