Hi, I am still contemplating whether my boy should continue with the Success program. He is with Lcentral since Foundation, launchpad and completed Liftoff.

The reason why I hesitated about continuing in success program is because when I look through their workbook, it seems that they do not cover topic by topic. For example, i thought they will be teaching grammar. In grammar, there will be topics like nouns, verbs, adjectives, punctuation, etc. There is no workbook on each topic itself. The workbook is such that there is composition, comprehension, spelling list, etc.

Is this the right way to teach for Primary one? If do not continue with the Success program, is there another good school to build up good foundation of English language for Primary school kids?

      Any parents can kindly advise?

      Many thanks!

My boy finished Liftoff in June this year. There was an option to continue to \"Preparation for Success\" immediately. But when I flipped through the workbook, I thought the same as you. Hence I bought a grammar workbook from Popular to teach him basic grammar myself. Aim is to coach him to write proper sentences before continuing to \"Preparation for Success\". He is attending \"Preparation for Success\" next Jan..... hope it is as good as \"Liftoff\", as I really love their Liftoff programme.

Around $500 plus for 11 classes for weekends. 1.5 hours per class.

              Weekday a bit cheaper.

Any parents with kids in primary school who attended the L-Central classes and saw improvement in their grades?

My son is now in lc je liftoff but i compared against the syllabus in mindstretcher i also notice lc dont focus on grammer verbs etc so i m tinking of taking him off lc. Because during the course there was lousy teachers n my son spent 2 terms with tat lousy teacher n i tried to change my son to other centres but they dont allow as they say different boss. End up we stop a while to wait for new class to start on monday evening so we have to send him to class on weekdays now.
