Yes. Bio and Geog are both very content heavy and it is very heavy-going to be doing both. The amount of content at upper sec is multi-fold at A levels. -

Thanks for the info.Jx2mum:

Can anyone share the RGS Sec 1 booklist? Also, what is the recommended number of school uniforms, PE attire, ties, culottes, etc.?
Would like to purchase ahead of time to avoid the crowd after posting day.
Thanks for your help.
Hi SG,
I don't have the Sec 1 book list but as for uniforms, I bought 2 pcs of Pinafore, 1 necktie, 1 culottes, 2 sets of PE (shirts/shorts) and 4 pcs white polo shirt. Then later on they will give her house t-shirt, CCA shirt and class shirt which they will use once in awhile.
I hope this will help.
Hi!
Sorry I don't have the booklist either but I bought 2 culottes, 3 sets of uniform and 3 sets of PE attire!
Culottes are usually worn with all kinds of other shirts like PE shirts on Wednesdays, house T-shirts and CCA shirts, class shirts or just any school approved shirts. So personally I feel that two is enough to rotate and wear during events which are mostly in the first semester of Y1.
For uniform it's practically worn everyday except Wednesday (if you are lazy to change) because it is required for everyone to change out of PE attire after PE.
And 1 tie is enough although some classmates keep a spare one in their locker in case they forget to bring their ties to school on Thursday (formal morning assembly needs tie).
Also, there are usually 2 PE lessons per week for Y1 so actually 2 is enough, but sometimes special events may require to wear PE. Actually I think I should have bought 2 PE shirts and 3 PE shorts hahhahaha the school shorts are really useful!

[/quote]Thanks Honeyfirebird. What about school shoes? Do they have to be white? Or are sports shoes allowed, in certain colors only?

School shoes can have different colours in it as long as 80% of the shoe is white. Also the rubber part surrounding the sole of the shoe must be white. (not sure how to describe that part
basically its the part that is nearest to the ground when you walk hahahahha)
Oh yea and socks must be visible at all angles too! Actually more information will be given during the orientation days so yeah can listen out for more info XD

Also, the colour cannot be too bright. Neon colours are not acceptable even if 80% of the shoe is white
