Actually not much difference in Oral. p1 to p3 never get full marks before too 😓

Please dont let this gep thingy distract us. I see us as similarly concerned parents here, trying to help our kiddos and I appreciate your sharing 😉

for daughter, there is a little improvement for her English...but I worry about her math and science now. i have long accepted that she might have to take foundation 🤷 if it is better for her, then just be it.

Doing well or not is relative. My boy will tell me he mess up if he discovered 1-2 careless mistakes.

If your ds is a perfectionist, he will be stressed hor. Not to scare you. Just a word of caution.
Heard your ds got in to gep. Your diligence pays off. Congrats 😄

I'm concerned about how much the marks will fall. Not quite mentally prepared for that. I'm a little surprised by the extend you described.
I am talking about EL subject in particular, if you trace my earlier post with pen88 and Steadyberry.

I blur sotong. Never read properly then I scare myself 😓

Ya.. my boy is the perfectionist type.. he can accept if he is genuinely not sure about something but gets upset if he overlooked something.. basically he just hates losing.. Actually this year I slack a lot in terms of coaching him.. no time and no energy.. but I do allocate him some work.. dun like to see him wasting time...

Do celebrate when there is improvement. Great moral booster to any kid 😄

              Yes to that TA.
For this child especially, motivation and confidence means a lot to her.

                Hi parents,

I would like to seek for advice on how to improve CL oral. Dd did well for reading passage and picture discussion. But she got 6/10 for conversation. She didn’t repeat the content from the picture, able to answer the questions and gave her own opinion but still couldn’t score. So what could be the reason. Appreciate your advice.

No, no, you got me wrong 🙂 Definitely understand we are all concerned mummies. But I do reckon the expectation and standard set by GEP is higher than that of mainstream. So you do not have to be overly concerned 🙂 Your DD will do just fine 🙂
