Off to cut my hair with DD later. She set this hair cut thing in motion when she asked to cut her waist length hair to shoulder length. Decided to cut mine to shoulder length too. Hopefully that will help reduce hair loss.

I cut my hair short 15 yrs ago (after the birth of my 2nd child), but that child now has hair half-way down her back, and a lot of it seems to end up on the floor! I persuaded her to let me trim it last week, but only less than 2 inches. I do wish she would have it short so I would see less hair on my white floor, but I also understand that she enjoys her hair and doesn't want to spare the time to keep getting it cut. I had long hair from my early teens to 35yo, so I guess I have to let her have her turn. I've told her to get a dark-coloured floor if she moves into her own place one day! -
My girls and i have short hair. Zero management.
Only my elder girl need apply oil and use hair brush to tame her lion mane.
dd2 and i have fine thin hair, don’t need to comb at all, just air dry
I’m actually envious of dd1’s lion mane, i need more hair! -
daughter perspires easily and her hair is thick. I keep it short so that it is easier to wash. my hair is also short as I wash daily. with such hot and humid weather, it is difficult to manage long hair.

DS cut her hair to just below shoulder and she’s loving it. When she turns her head, we can feel her hair swaying to her cheek. She looks so different with her hair down and slight curls at the end. Very nice!
Mine is way above shoulder. Look like a school kid again. It feels so light! -
