Yes top class is M & N in which 1st 40 would be 270 to 300 pts (M) & N class follow by that. The rest are all normal classes. Students in M& N classes would be expose to Onsponge Maths, Higher Chinese & extra words for spelling. It is very stressing for kids & both parents in the M& N classes.
Think M&N is no difference. Boy with 292pts but in N class. I heard they split the top 80 students into 2 classes alternately.
Anyone which are the top 2 classes for P3 in 2015? Will it be M and N again?fontaine1818:
Hi,
Not sure if dd missed it or something....but may I know if any parent here receive year 2013 school magazine yet? When I asked dd, she always answer me she don't know. :stupid: -
Anyway there would be another round of spilt up by Mathematics scoring at end of Primary 4 provided the school did not change the strategic planning.

How do you know the split is based on Maths' results? :scratchhead: -
Since the level/class position is not listed in the report book, not sure who is top in the level. As far as I know, the top student in 3M is posted to 4N next year.

To find out the top student, you will have to go through grapevine.

Top 3 students of every class would be announced in the yearly prize giving day organised by the school. Somehow there a wording 一山还有一山高, there is no point to compare.
Maybe it would be interesting to know current P6 Top in Level would it be the top scorer of PSLE in Radin Mas?
PSLE Result date: Between 21 and 24 November 2014 (tentatively) :xedfingers: -

Don't think the parents came here to compare results. They just wanted to know the type of classes their children would be going to due to the common perception that this will have an impact on the type of teaching resources allocated. However, we know that this perception is not true. -
Just to share wat was told by my DS1 FT when they first spilt the top 2 classes not according to results (2yrs ago)…FT said it was spilt randomly. It was M & A2 then.
The same thing was mentioned last year. The 1st and 3rd position in his class were posted to M while 2nd was posted to A2. -

I think it should be Top 80+ split into M & N. This was your son allocated to his class this year, as well as his class next year.titank:
I am not sure whether the school will still use Onsponge for P3 onwards next year. This year, they didn't.Students in M& N classes would be expose to Onsponge Maths, Higher Chinese & extra words for spelling. It is very stressing for kids & both parents in the M& N classes.

Dino Mummy,
Did the same teachers teach your son last and this year?
