        Very touching!

At the P1 orientation, we were told also:
        今日你以培群为荣,明日培群以你为傲!

        Very meaningful and encouraging!

My p6 child was very touch by the graduation ceremony. She told me that pcps is a very good school and she cherished her 6 years there.

              muska:
Most sch that i knew off only give top 10 academic prize per cohort.. so i find peichun not bad..more chance by class. By p5..there's also top in subjects prize but monopolies by 1st class.

              Hi precious2lee
Just curious did ur niece finally go for the gep offer? How is she coping?
              Hi muska,

Yes, my niece took up the GEP offer. Anyway, she does not need to change school as her school is one of the GEP centers.

She is coping fine, no tuition, except 1 enrichment on English creative writing. Her \"other tuition\" is monthly or bi-monthly visits to the psychiatrist for her ADHD. Medication + consultation, this is as expensive as 1 term of enrichment but we do observe positive results in her learning and attitude. The psychiatrist will also teach my sis how to teach and motivate this \"unique\" child.

Anyway, my sis is one weird sole. She really take it very easy with my niece's studies. I do not see any stress in her at all. I am not sure if this is due to the frequent consultation with the psychiatrist. In Jun, when most kids were having intensive revision for the PSLE, my sis can still bring my niece to Japan for a 10 days vacation!

PSLE results will be out this Fri or next Mon. Shall see how she performs. 🙂

I like this statement too and agree that the graduation note is indeed a touching one! 校长really 很用心地写!

I checked google map and found Toa Payoh South CC is the nearest, 700m. Next is Toa Payoh East CC, 900m.

Yes, Pei Chun still accept PVs but in most years, balloting is still needed.

My sincere well wishes to the parents of 2014 PCPS P6 students receiving the PSLE results tomorrow, Friday, 20 Nov 2014.

The first of many many milestones. 🙂

It is a tradition in PCPS that all its students thank their parents for these 6 years of hard work bringing up the children to where they are to date. So please accept an embrace from your child (according to Gray Chapman, it is one of their love language) or give one to them.

Good job to all parents! 🙂

Lastly, as I told my students and many parents before, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” A famous quote by Albert Einstein, but no one puts it better than the teacher of Alexander the Great, Aristotle, \"Education of the mind without education of the heart is no education at all.\"

The point has never been about stellar grades, focus on the goal of education, not never the prize of it.

I hope this encourages many parents out there.

                    :B

                        Dear Strong Mummy,

I think the school will most likely end up in the holding site in the AMK / YCK area for a period of 2 years. I will post any updates on the AM/PM session.
