      Hi Tulpen,

If kid is interested n willing to do the homework, PLUS able to cope with school work, then probably can continue with the program. Has your kid completed multiplication n division already?

Do you mean in 2 yrs time they shd be mastering addition, subtraction, multiplication & division?

My DS just joined & yesterday was his 2nd lesson, i was told that teacher starts teaching him addition, i was wondering how long it takes for him to master all the addition, subtraction, multiplication & division?

It depends on at what age your child starts the programme and how fast he can master the techniques. They will master addition, subtraction, multiplication & division by end of Grade 6. Grade 5 and below will be the Master grades. In my opinion, 2 yrs is a v challenging target, unless your kid is exceptional šŸ˜„ .

                      Thks for your input.
My boy K1 boy just started his lesson 2 weeks ago, i am not trying to compare, i just want to gauge how long it takes for him to go thru the lesson & to master his addition, subtraction, multiplication & division.
Will there be any exam for him to move to the next level? or teacher will access his standard then decide to move him?
                      Thks.

Grading exam is optional but good experience for the kid. The teacher will move him to next grade after he has completed the books for that grade. For beginner, he must complete the foundation stage then can move on to grade 13.
