St Hilda highest 275
St Hilda did quite well, it is my 1st choice for my elder son. Will be competitive for next year's enrollment.
Is St Hilda's top scorer announced today? My friend told me its not, so how do you know 275 is the highest?
Since last year 2013, MOE have instructed all sch not to publicly announce their top scorer and it's result.
But if you get to know the teachers and the HOD there, you won't have difficulty getting such info -
Observation :-
Schools are not disclosing their student’s top scores apparently.
Schools will announce a list of the top scorers’ names ranging 260 and above.
Parents / Students will be able to narrow down who the overall top scorer is. -

couldn't agree more...sigh
I remember i read from ksp somewhere somewhere, 45%-47% scored above 250 in Nanyang for 2012 psle, No? :scratchhead:pirated:

Average of 235 is also very close to the avg score like scgs pri and mgs pri and some non-gep schools.
Relative's daughter failed to get min 250 so she has to exit the Nanyang family. Totally devastated. She said P mention this year result not as good as last year. What happened? -

I don't really think so. -
manifits:

There is nothing to defeat.
Every cohort is different.
This year's 280 could be lower than last year's 275
The mean and sd for each cohort is dependent on the cohort itself.
