Hi parents,


I’m a former student from the old days when the school was at Joo Chiat. My last year with school was when they have just shifted to Bishan. I remembered I helped out in their new library. hehe…

As far as I can remembered, the standards of school was pretty good back then but not sure now. Tot of enrolling my gal. Not sure of the chances. Can anyone advise?

Hi,

Since you're an old student, I would think your chances of getting a place for your gal is 100%. You'll be registering under phase 2A2, all these years the enrollment under phase 2A2 is very low. Ha, even phase those enrolling under phase 2B has 100% successful rate all this while. So no worries lah.

Does anyone know when shall we start to do PV? must it be min of 40hrs within a year or to register early for PV and spread it over a longer period? :?

i think is only once a year. sometimes none. usually is after SA1. Or at the end of term 3. i can't remember cos they cancelled last year's PTC because of H1N1

Hi DaddyDav,

For the past few years, there's balloting for those staying 1-2 km from the school. I'm also staying 1-2 km from the school, had signed up as PV to be eligible to register under phase 2B. So far, there were no balloting under phase 2B.

Your child was born in Yr 2005, you'll need to apply as PV now, as you'll need to start clocking in the hours from June this year.
