      My dd scored 253 plus HMT 2 = 255 . ( 3 A* and 1 A)

Her first choice is Dunman High. however COP for past year was 256. Does she stands a chance? As we will be away on posting results, hope to submit more confident application.

I think she stands a chance because the COP for secondary schools this year may drop by a point or so....no guarantee though. It also depends on the number of pupils who want to apply to Dunman High and their PSLE scores. No harm putting Dunman High as first choice anyway 😄 If application is rejected, Dunman High must be placed as first choice to warrant an appeal (I think). Hope I helped!

      Thanks for your help 😄

            1. On the day S1 posting is out, go to the school you want to appeal to fill up an Appeal Form.
            2. Beside appeal based on PSLE score, there will be appeal based on sports or performing art talent, much like DSA. There is certain minimum requirement for PSLE score.
            3. There may be interview/audition. If successful, you will be give a transfer letter to the posted school. Otherwise, report to the posted school on the first day of the new term.

If no specific preference, go by distance.

My dd had the same problem 5 years ago.

In the end, she chose DHS becos of the school environment n culture. She has no regrets up to this day.

                  Good luck!!!!

hmm… In terms of inconvenience and assessibility, both equally inconvenient!

My daughter also considering to take 3rd language. Stuck between French and Japanese, perhaps even Malay as well (important language in SG). Any inputs and suggestions and also maybe if DHS has any of the languages taught in school so my daughter need not go out of school?
