Anybody know is it a must for the student to join in the swimming class when comes to P3? If the student has archieve certificate (Bronze) etc, can he be omitted out for the swimming class?

Also is it a compulsory rule for student to take up CCA when comes to P3? If yes, how many CCA activity a student needs to have, just one would be okay?

Yes its compulsory to attend the swimming class. They will separate the kids according to their ability.

For CCA, you can choose to join the school team, uniform group or the modular CCA. For modular CCA, the child is exposed to a wide selection of activities, from batik painting, scuba diving to maths olympiad. Each module will last a term and fall in a classification of ... (sorry cant remember the names, but there are around 5). You have to select at least 1 or 2 of each classification, to arrive at a total of 12 modules or so by the time the child reaches P6

For ds case, he is with the BB for 3 terms and gets to join the rest to do a CCA of his choice for a term.
