Just a note.... If you really want cedar, then why don't you put cedar o level as 2nd choice?if can't get in, very good chance to appeal since both cedar are 1st and 2nd choices.

Yes mother tongue is Chinese.
I think not very possible to get 269 with 2 A stars, 1 A and 1 B

Not possible at to get 269 with 2A*, 1A. 1 B.
2 of DD's classmates have 4A* and only get 263 and 265 respectively.

For what I analyst from your choice above is like hopping for the good Durian to drop. As you know your HMT can only be use in SAP sch and only your 5 & 6 choice sch can use HMT points for consideration.
You simply wasted your top 4 choice.
Just as another one of kiasu members have say, since you have put Cedar IP as first choice, it will be more logical to put Cedar O as 2nd choice as in the event you can't get in Cedar IP ( which is very likely), or even to the O level (which is very slim). You can appeal and most likely they would accept as you have put them in consideration as 1st & 2nd choice.
All the top 4 choice sch only see the raw T-score and not with HMT.
Fyi, Cedar IP & O level track is highly sought after by girls who got 248 and above score line and it's very hard for you to fight with these girls as you would struggle. There are girls posted to Crescent gals sch and other different convent sch all eager to appeal to Cedar for IP & O level track last year and I remember the sch accepted them with a condition that they must have a HMT.
In the end it's your choice, but if your daughter really love Cedar so much. It will be Better if you put them in your child first 2 choices.

Your choice of sch is all good to go and you won't have any problem with it as your choices is not a risk taker type. You will get your 1st choice sch.

2013 RVHS COP was 251, so your son has a good chance to get in.

RVHS is 6 years SAP IP leading to A levels.
BPGH is 4 years non-SAP leading to O levels.
NHHS is 4 years SAP school leading to O levels.

Consider those factors and your son's strengths. All the best.


For 252+1, there are many options available if you are alright with independent schools (fees) : ACS O levels, SJI IP (IB)
Or Catholic High IP (A)

Thanks again.[/quote]Both BPGH and NHHS are good options in the west side. You will definitely get in either if you put them as second choice. It depends on whether you like an SAP school (more Chinese oriented environment) or not.

By S1 which is using computer, 22 Dec will report to Jurong Sec. On that day itself, do manual appealing to Commonwealth, most likely they will take in. Don't worry about 22 Dec, any school just report first for the sake of marking attendance. Wasting time, still listen to principal's talk
