I thought that it is random too, it is interesting on how they allocate class by PSLE.

Yup, 3 years ago, they only ask for P4, P5, P6 results for DSA, now they ask if you are MS or GEP during DSA. And after PSLE results, they ask you for your score plus grade and must upload PSLE results slip ... wonder how they are going to allocate :scratchhead:

Well, knowledge is power, it’s fine for them to know more.

Just curious what they are going to do with it though. Take MS vs GEP for example, is it going to be affirmative action on the side of MS, or are they cutting GEP some slack because they have already "proven" themselves?

May I check if anyone has received an email to ask you to enter & upload your PSLE results ? It says to facilitate class allocation...hmm, something new. I thought there is no preference and class allocation is random ?

Yes, we received... oh is this not required previously?

May I confirm something ? For example, if take CM4105A in Year 3, even if the score for this module is higher than the top score for those taking CM3206 at Year 3, still cannot get the Book Prize for the subject right ?

Nope, the worse thing is I thought there will be a page (something like acknowledgement or review page) whereby I can print & check if I have entered correctly but apparently there isn't, so I'm not very sure if I had input correctly as I was in a rush. I hope they will counter-check my entry against the slip uploaded πŸ˜‚

No, but the score will qualify for Year 4's book prize (if the core for both semesters are taken, I think).

Can I confirm again the score for CM4105A will only be computed in Year 4 GPA/CAP ?
