Can give me some advice on RVHS and NJC, which school is better in your view. I think my son can go to RVHS based on last year’s COP, but NJC is more near to my house and I am thinking to give it a try. Both school has big ratio of girls to boys, right? how about others, school culture , teachers , principal and performance?

      Thanks

If you prefer njc, just put it ahead of rv...it will not affect your entry into rv (if u meet their COP) even if you miss the COP of NJC

            Teacher Aaron:
            pirated:

Every year at the briefing for P6 parents all these made known to parents - t score formula, SD, posting procedure, decimal pl etc

            Appreciate your transparency

I don't need to jeopardise my friend's job to prove anything. If indeed you say that the briefing for P6 parents the decimal place system is made known to parents, it is very interesting that in my years of tutoring and having good relationships with many parents whose kids are in many different primary schools, I've not heard parents mention this after P6 briefings. Perhaps my students are somehow not studying in Singaporean primary schools? I doubt it. The only place I see this decimal place thing being mentioned is on KSP forums. It could be true; it's just that I've not been able to independently verify this. Is it a problem that a person reserves comment on something he/she is unable to independently verify?

Please refer to 'Choosing your Sec Sch 2015' booklet, SECTION III, 7.1 and 7.2.

Quote from 7.1: \"... according to their PSLE aggregate scores ROUNDED TO THE NEAREST WHOLE NUMBER.\"

Quote from 7.2: \"... If there is a tie, say between two Singapore Citizens, the one with the higher UNROUNDED aggregate score, ...\"
