I'm biased in favour of HCI because I'm an alumnus.Hi kiasu parents:
My son scored 255+3. We stay in west. Our choices as follows:
1)HCI
2)NJC
3)ACSI(IB)
4)RVHS
5)CHS
6)NAN HUA
Need your comments and advice. Thank you very much!
However, in all honesty, all these are great schools! I would say that based on the list, RVHS is the barest minimum you will get. Regarding options 1-3, it really depends on COP movement this year, but there's a good chance for all three. -

Thanks for pointing out where to get a copy. It lacks section I, though. I suppose MOE doesn't want the information to get out so readily?http://www.moe.edu.sg/education/admissi ... e-posting/
this book is updated every year and is available for download
it says posting based on unrounded aggregate score is there is a tie on rounded score -

ACS (Barker) also gives the discount to ACJC, right? Anyway, I think these schools are generally ok academically. It's really a matter of other considerations.

I overlooked ACS also got discount for ACJC, and similarly Anglican High gives discount for SAJC entry
parents beside looking at COP should also look at the larger picture of JC entry advantage. -

Teacher Aaron:
Ok, ignore that. I think MOE prefers Reference I for print only and the SIS microsite for online.

Hi,
Appreciate if someone can clarify the following:
1. Whether student A with 253 + 2 will be given priority over student B with 252 + 3 if both choose the same SAP school as first choice?
2. Whether student C with 252 +3 will be given priority over student D with 253 + 1 if both choose the same SAP school as first choice?
Thank you
First thing to note is that there are 13 decimal places behind the 252 or 253 ā¦
so, it is unlikely ever any two candidates will have exactly the same score whether it is 252+3 or 253+2 or any other combination
bonus point from HCL has the same standing as the points from the four core subjects, as far as SAP schools are concerned.
I have very reliable information that an SAP school will choose a 252+3 over a 253+2 or a 254+1. To the SAP school, the final aggregate score is the same: 255, so they will pick the one with better HMT performance.
I cannot comment on the decimal point thing because I have no reliable information for that.
The S1 posting is by moe computer, not a matter of choice by the sap school, and the 13 decimal places is an established fact. Where have you been ?
I am confuse now, is the posting follow merit or COP during MOE posting?? -
