Wonderful news. Currently there is a covered linkway being built along the ring road. This will connect Jelapang LRT station to the gate of the school. I am not sure of the completion date, but it is great news for West Spring Primary School.

For P1 students, does the school allow parents to enter the school on first day? Who will buddy the children during recess?

Hi Boys Manager,
West Spring Primary will open for school on 2 Jan. School starts at 0740. The P2 students will buddy the new P1 students. This year, we the parents were allowed in to the school during recess to monitor the students from behind a cornered off area. As for 2 Jan, I am not sure on how they will do it. I would suggest that you telephone the school tomorrow and speak to Madam Noor for more information.

Please go on to the school website and select the LETTERS TO PARENTS. You will see the steps for logging into MC ONLINE. Alternatively, please do telephone the school on Monday and ask to speak to Madam Noor for further assistance.

Finally, got the textbooks and uniforms Dec 1st today.

And had also registered for school bus services, however, we still need to wait for the operator to contact us as they had not finalize the transport fees due to distance calculation confirmation.

Qn : Can anyone advise me what should the children bring for their first day of school? TIA

Think the sch has emailed the parents last week regarding 1st day of sch on 2 Jan.

First day need to bring only:
Pencil case
Coloring pencils
A story book
A water bottle

Actual academics will start only on 5 Jan onwards.
