CHIJ St Nicholas Girls'

Hi St Nick’s parents,
Any of the parents send their dd for Science tuition based on St Nick’s school syllabus? I have hard time finding a suitable Science tuition centre - Learning Lab, Science Hub, etc? Anyone can recommend a good one? I only know Learning Lab are the only centre which teaches based on the school term syllabuses, & they especially open individual class based on different schools such as St Nick, Raffles Girls & Rosyth etc. However, other centres will randomly teach the Science syllabus which may not match when the school teaches certain topic. Any parents faces the same problem? Pls advise a good one!
Thanks! -

May I ask, which level is your gal in? The syllabus should be the same for all schools right? Just that the topics are taught in different sequence? Cos in the end, everyone is sitting for the same paper?
The school would be introducing supplementary classes for science and maths starting next year… to reinforce the concepts taught using experiments and handson stuff. Why not wait and see how it goes? -

Think things are done differently this year. I have noticed that the top 3 girls from 2 different P2 classes going to 2 different P3 classes next year. Not sure how many \"top\" classes there are, but teachers have been telling us that there are no top classes. They won't reveal the top class, but you will be able to tell next year cos all the Academic Award winners (top 3 girls from the p2 classes) will go to that class.
It's harder to tell which are the 2nd and 3rd classes at p3 , cos at p3, SNGS also accepts transfer students (who are typically the top in their schools at p1/2, or have a very good CCA record in SNGS niche areas).Puzz...zzle:
From the circular given to parents, supplementary classes will be for P4 to P6 students, Mon and Thu in Terms 2 and 4.dino3112:

Hello Mummies,
Can I know which student care girls from CHIJ St Nicholas normally go?
Would appreciate your advise very much.
Thanks.
:thankyou: -
I heard the St Nic’s cop this year dropped to 245 for o level, is it true?
Can someone confirm it.
If i never select St Nic, any chance of appealing?
Thanks. -
Any idea why the COP dropped so much? Quite unbelievable.
