Isn’t 2 ccas very time consuming? Any time left for other activities?

So the 2 ccas applies to all in the school , not just the sec 1 s right? I guess it’s a good thing actually. . Just need to change the mindset of moving to a full day school.

:imcool: 2 CCAs taken at ordinary level in ACSI is totally manageable. If taken to a competitive level, our boys will reduce their computer gaming time - perfect

Just checked and my son got posted here. Any advise on the uniform group to choose which has the least amount of outdoors / drills / marching etc? My son is the nerdy type who prefers robotics!

My son with a t-score of 250 got posted to ACS(I) "O" level. Can we appeal for ACS (I) IB?

For the last few years, the cutoff for IB is 253-254. No harm trying but likely chances not high.

Even if he prefers indoor stuff, the outdoor, drills & marching will certainly do him good.

Thanks Zeemimi. I read that ACS (I) \"O\" level cop is 247. It was 249 last year. Does that mean that ACS(I) IB cop would have come down?
When i called ACS(I) office they said IP cannot appeal.

I seem to get the impression all along that the school sets the COP for ACSI IB. It doesn't seem to work on a demand & supply way like other schools. Pls correct me if I'm wrong.

There is not a great deal of difference between O level and express for year 1 & 2. There is still chance to get into IB at Year 3.
