New books, i will read to him first few times. Then i throw in some questions to him … so that it engages him… or even ask him to describe the pics in the books.
Not so new books, i get him to read to me instead. He can only recognise some words… but i reckon he memorised the contents… so he can " read"…
Sometimes when we are on bus or mrt, i will ask him abt the stories as well… juz something to get him to describe and comment.
I make flashcards of the key words in the some of his fav stories too. was hoping that it wil help him in word recognition : P -
Wao... really must learn from you. What make you such motivation to do it daily? I mean, story book...flash card? I think should be ur ah boy enjoy it then gv u motivation. Am I rite?

yes… my boy enjoys them… … so no matter how tired i am, i will read some books at least.
of coz… it’s becos i am a kiasu parent mah. -

My mum takes care of the little rascal while i m at work. I sometimes work from home (but trust me, it's tough with rascal ard) -
of course, how to work if some1 surrounding u and keep saying mummy…mummy…normally at home I don’t really hv my own sweet time. Only when they are sleep, but the time, I also sleep liao…^_^
