Hi Janice, better check with his form teacher, in case the policy has changed. From my experience with ds who is in P5 now, such changes take place every two years ie P1&P2 same class, P3&P4, P5&P6. So, doing well for the SA2 for P2, P4 is important.

Streaming happens in P5 too

U r rite. Streaming happens in P2 and P4. For 2015, 1st class for P3 is Jade.

1) How’s the school in terms of academic? Do they focus on producing top students, getting the bulk of average students to excel?

2) Do they have any affiliation to any secondary schools? Where do most of the students go for secondary schools?

3) What CCAs are they strong in?

Beside the hike in bus fee of 50% the timing was change from 620am (school orientation) to now 605 am? My place distance so near but dun understand why they need to be so early when school properly open at 630 am?

Just get to know my son went to different class for his Chinese lessons. Only 3 students from his class go to the same Chinese class. Anyone has any idea why their Chinese don’t stay as a whole in the same class? Ps ( his marks for Chinese last year pri 1 was 87.) I texted the teacher but hasn’t get any reply from her yet. I even emailed his class form teacher. Still pending reply.

It is because for Chinese, the school \"streamline\" the pupils based on their standards, hence foundation class and advance class. Main purpose is for consolidation sake so that students will catch up at their own pace. No worries.

I realise there might be 2 top classes, both Amethyst and Jade. However, what the heck, PSLE is the main goal. Top class, wushu and DSA are all not my main considerations.
